Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-03-03 Who we are Skill Atlas is an app by OpenClawLab. If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, contact support@openclawlab.app. What the app does Skill Atlas helps you browse and search a catalog of skills. The catalog is built from public registry data and downloaded to your device for fast, offline search. Signing in is optional. If you sign in, you can post community content (ratings, comments, warnings) and vote items as helpful. Advertising (AdMob) Skill Atlas displays ads using Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). When ads are shown, Google may collect and process information such as: - Device identifiers (for example, the advertising identifier on Android, and on iOS the advertising identifier only if you allow tracking; otherwise other device/app identifiers may be used) - IP address (which can be used to estimate coarse location) - App interactions related to ads (for example, ad impressions and taps) - Diagnostics (crash/performance information related to serving ads) We request non‑personalized ads by default. Google may still use limited information for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. Learn more: - Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy - Google advertising technologies: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads Data we collect 1) Guest mode (no sign‑in) On-device data: downloaded catalog files, local search database, Saved Skills bookmarks, Collections, and app preferences (e.g., Safety Mode). We do not collect a name or email from you in guest mode. Ads: even in guest mode, AdMob may collect the advertising/diagnostic data described above when ads are shown. 2) Signed‑in mode (Google Sign‑In or Sign in with Apple via Firebase) If you choose to sign in, we use Firebase Authentication to identify your account. Depending on the provider (Google or Apple), Firebase may provide: - Account identifiers: a Firebase user ID (UID) - Profile info: name and profile photo (if available) - Email address: if your provider shares it with the app (with Apple, you may choose to hide your email and use a private relay address) When you use community features, we store the content you submit in Firebase Firestore, including: - Community ratings (star rating and optional text) - Comments you write about a skill - Warnings you post about a skill - Helpful votes (whether you marked a comment/warning as helpful) - Reports you submit (reason/details) when you report content - The display name and avatar URL you have in your sign‑in profile (shown with your posts) - Timestamps (created/updated time) and basic anti‑abuse fields (e.g., helpful/report counts, status) 3) Crash/diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics) If enabled for your build, we use Firebase Crashlytics to help diagnose crashes and stability issues. Crashlytics may collect crash logs, device/app information, and performance-related diagnostics. Data we receive from third parties The catalog includes public registry information about skills (e.g., a skill name/summary, downloads, installs, and GitHub stars). Those stats are not your personal data. How we use your data - To provide the app’s core features (offline catalog; community posting) - To prevent abuse and enforce our Community Guidelines (moderation, anti‑spam, reporting) - To compute aggregate community summaries (e.g., average rating and totals) - To serve and measure ads, and prevent ad fraud/abuse (via AdMob) - To improve reliability and troubleshoot issues (Crashlytics, logs) - To provide support and respond to user requests How we share your data - Google Firebase: Authentication, Firestore hosting, and (if enabled) Crashlytics - Google AdMob: ad delivery/measurement and related diagnostics - Other users: your community posts may be visible to other Skill Atlas users (subject to moderation) - Legal: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect safety and integrity Your choices - You can use the app without signing in. - You can manage ad personalization in your device settings: - iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security (Tracking / Apple Advertising) - Android: Settings → Privacy (Ads) - You can delete your account in the app (see below). Retention We retain community content and account data for as long as needed to operate the service, unless you delete your account or request deletion. Ad-related data is handled by Google under their retention policies. Delete your account and data You can delete your account from within the app. If you cannot access the app, you can submit a deletion request using the “Delete Account” page on our website. Deleting your account removes your authentication record and removes or de-identifies community content you posted (for example, ratings/comments/warnings). Some aggregated counts may remain but will not be linked to you. Children This app is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact support@openclawlab.app. Changes We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above.
